No, I'm not thinking about giving birth of a child. I'm talking about organ donation. In Norway, several hundred people are waiting for a life saving organ, whether it's a kidney, liver or something else. Many of them die in the wait. I've seen the effect with my own eyes, thanks to a friend I met at school several years ago. He was some years older than me and he had struggled with the health most of his life. Leukemia as a kid and got several bounce backs and some other really crappy stuff. The meds and cancer treatments in general took a tall on his body and he ended up needing a kidney transplant. It took about 2 years getting the kidney and almost straight away he got better. If he hadn't got the transplant, his entire body would eventually shut down and he could have died. Please consider becoming an organ donor. If not, can you please at least consider becoming a bone marrow or blood donor? In Norway, there's even an organ donor app for smart phones. At least I've started my journey, with donating blood and registered as an organ donor. Tags: charity, health, life, random, thoughts, volunteer

Here's a couple of postcards I've recieved today. This art postcard is from Germany; http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/DE-1085665 A cool mapcard from Holland; http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/NL-845417And this last one I recieved via a private swap. The postcard shows some ruins in Carthage, Tunisia/Tunis. Have anyone heard of Hannibal? No, not Hannibal Lecter, but the historical Hannibal.
